I agree with you about the roads - apart from the suspension-killing state of some of them, they were so narrow that whenever something was coming the other way both drivers had to practically drive into the hedge - not a big problem with a scruffy old Triumph 1300, but with tens of grands' worth of MG TA or Ferrari 348 it's a bit of a different matter. It was a good day out though, despite the weather, and there was a very impressive turnout of cars, both in number, quality and variety, which is unusual when the weather is like it was today.
