photobucket.com/user/peterhwilson/media/imagejpg3_zps40ddbbe0.jpg.html] [/URL] My old NG900 from a few years ago. The most irritating car I've ever had as I could never get the hood to work properly. Excuse the drug dealer alloys. Did mean to get rid of them but spent the money trying to sort the hood. Still fancy a Saab vert would love a classic but will probably be a GM model if I ever get myself organised.

I'm afraid i think it eventually sold. Looked really neat. A few years ago my neighbour spent fair old wedge on a late 90s CLK . At the same time I had spent £750 on my first 190. After a year or so of ownership the CLK had rust popping up in loads of spots throughout the bodywork. My budget 190 only had one small rust bubble near the aerial. To say he was decidedly peeved off is an understatement! Must sort myself out another Mercedes again at some point.

I was tempted to go and look at a supposedly rust free one of those a few months ago in exactly the same colour. Got distracted by another Volvo instead. Looks like it will make a good winter car and save your other Benz's for the better weather. Must admit I do like your W114 and W126. Any more updates on them.

Didn't realise you were on here as well. Having seen the 740 in the flesh I can vouch that it is in absolutely fantastic condition. Photographs do not do it justice.

That's a pretty tidy looking machine. Lets hope its as tidy in the flesh! Get yourself onto UK Saabs. Any problems questions etc should be answered there.

Well done can't beat a good old 740 estate. Not that I'm biased of course.

Another vote for the 190 from me. Had three of them over the years and they are just great to drive. Only thing I would say about them is that I have found them a bit awkward to get in and out of. For me there's not a lot of room between the steering wheel and the seat.

Well done on buying this. One of my dream cars. Got to be the most stylish car ever made. There was a frilly one for sale a few months ago in the West of Ireland which i was tempted to ring about but chickened out as i knew i would never be able to do it. Will be watching this with interest.

Nice collection. Cant remember the last time i saw a Transit of that age. Is the Escort used for multi venue autotests/lanes rallies as think I've seen photos of it.

Let's lower the average age of the cars in this thread a bit with my daily drive and me at our offices. Been using her every day since 2011, covering about 16,000 miles a year. This'll be her 3rd winter and she's bearing up well. Dave Well done that man.

That looks really good. Always had a soft spot for,one of these but seem to end up with a 190 every time I go to look for one. Pre face lifts always look better.

Oh that's looking a lot more purposeful now. Can't beat a Fulvia sans bumpers. Check out the photographs on the Hero website. There was a nice looking Fulvia out on Le Jog this year.
