I would really love to get some FiAT 131 Supermirafiori steelies for the Uno as they are 14" and would look good on the Uno with 40 profile rubber FaT chance of finding any . . . . .RocKin 'orse DoDO . . . . HeNs TeeTH HOWEVER I've just scored a set of wheels like these from an X1/9 Gran Finale for 30 notes They are in quite rough condition But that doesn't matter on a 17 year old RaT LooK car . . . pix to follow

Hmmmmm That steering wheel you have fitted Is just like MINE That I fitted in my FIAT Uno Mk2 I got it out of an old X1/9 I once owned BUT I recently realised that it originally came out of a FIAT 127 Sport / Abarth

what do you mean by one stiff leaf spring on the back? Is that all they have? would have expected coil springs?? It like the old Fiat 128 with a traverse rear leaf spring and a swing arm on each side

In the property game freeholders usually look for about a 10% return on investment for storage/units/lock-ups
So take whatever value the building and its freehold has, then divide by ten and this gives you an approximation of the annual rental value [pa].
Working it the other way a lockup that is rented for £50 month [pcm], makes £600 a year [pa], so its value to buy would be approx £6000. Which seem about right when you think of how little land it would be on and how easy they are to build.
Also considering the approx size of your average lock-up that £50pcm works out at about £4 per sq foot per annum
That said there was one on the Wirral advertised by an Estate Agent in the local paper and they were asking £10k for it freehold! BUT it was in a VERY POSH area.....!!!!!!!
I've seen units round here on Wirral going for anything from £2 sqft pa to £7 sqft pa, depending on how big they are and what state the building is in.
Unfortunately the lower prices are usually for HUGE places thay you would need a large group of you to be able to afford.
So at the moment the two lock-ups I have, one at £32pcm and another at £96 per quarter, while not ideal, are pretty cost effective.
BUT I want the space of a unit to be able to work on my motors . . . Just need to keep looking. . . . .

Ta for the pozi comments YeaH I'm trying to keep to an ANGULAR set of MoDs Hence the rectangular-ish single spot/fog...when most RaTTeRs have a single yellow circular . . . like this example . . . The Assassin BOSOZOKU RAT . . . that can be found HERE CLiK2LinKThe MK2 Uno is really quite an angle box, all be it with some soft edges.... Hence its gone from this To this Re-working my paint job on the boot and bonnet next . . . . . .

I heard wonders about cleaning parts in dishwashers, I'm not convinced though, maybe ours isn't hot/whatever enough! <_< YeaH I heard the same Tried it on the carb for my X1/9 Didn't work very well on that either And my house mates didn't appreciate the petroleum smell of our dishes for a bout two weeks afterwards... ;D

as for 413 dizzy fitting a 410.. it can be done.. sort of.. you take the guts out of one and fit it in to the other! Ahhhh I thought that would be the case A bit of DiZZY GuTTing required to give lecky ignition! cheaper mod than buying an aftermarket kit! YuP that was the idea AND my 410's dizzy is totally worn out in any case Nice looking trucks by the way What running gear does the challenge truck use with those Grand Vitara steel rims and big rubber?
