When are the 4-spokes going on? I want to see the incarnate of your signature! Personally, I'd put the front bumper back on, it just looks...unfinished without it.

really liking the look of this remember seeing it at the poloshow, I'm going to take a guess and say you have lowered it by 60 at the back and 80 at the front?? as thats what mine used to look like when i brought it (btw yes it does look good from the side with the stance but wont look good from behind looks so much better lowered equal amounts and thats from experience lol) but not a fan of the lights now doesn't look right preferred them before but each to there own and such like lol

front bumper on inch or tow lower at the front. red strip in grille changed to the grey colour of the wheels.
that would massive win for me.
i do really like this car as is tho. keep the updates coming.

Your brother is going to have to find some new rims. Get some locking nuts on them and tell your brother you've lost the key.

Your ride needs them wheels! Impressive work with the rattle cans BTW great result, wish I had that much patience to get a good finish.

Wheels look awesome, car looks great. Not too sure the 'Slammed Society' sticker is really appropriate at the moment though. Some simple work would soon sort that though: I also agree on the bumperless look. Not too sure it works, but the majority of the car looks awesome.

^ your a hero for doing that! looks awsome, ahah I agree the slammed society doesn't work with them wheels on but with the standard wheels it looks alot lower, if i did get some banded steels I will drop it more, not being on coileys though it would involve lowering top mounts then probably cutting the springs :/
I believe if i put the bumper back on it will lose its character and just be a granny mobile again, photoshop a bumper on if you like :LL

Looks ace on the banded steels. I disagree with Bruce's photoshop though, front needs to be like the shop but the rear lowered maybe an inch at most. You'll need to make the rear suspension solid though or i'll chomp through the arches.

Looks great with the wide wheels but what is it like to drive? I spent a long time rebuilding my Polo and lowered it and put 195/45/15s on it and it was undriveable . That was 5 years ago and I just stuck it back in garage too sickened to deal with it again.

I didn't drive it with the banded steels on as the arches was rubbing on the tyre, just moved it on the drive, probaly be alright, to be honest i wouldn't put any bigger than 14 inch wheels on a breadvan just seems too big :/

I like your car, especially the solution with original indicators in the front! Don`t go too low, keep your car driveable, which is much more fun in the end: A volkswagen is for life and not for show season ;D

13" wheels with the original 82(?) aspect tyres are actually the the same height or even slightly taller than 15s with low profile tyres. 145/13 tyre next to 195/45/15 shows little difference in height. 13" tyre would compress slightly if actually mounted on carThe width of the wheels seemed to have a big detrimental effect on the steering which I really didn't bargain for. I'm actually going back to original 13" wheels with normal tyres, shocks etc as the car is mint inside & out and underneath and its just sitting gathering dust. Better out on the road on skinny normal wheels than sitting redundant on phat alloys in the garage.
