Also shouting out to shagracer since he likes 2dr japs and chandlergti since he likes porsches. Since I´m planing to send a model or two to chandlergti he might want to add some of these to be sent over the pond in one parcel? Absolutely, I would take all of the Porsches. Unless BT is in line ahead of me. el woody needs to be ok with that also since he is going to be doing the shipping.

This was parked up at the Fazolis we ate at, it was very nice as they really aren't over here. The newest one here is 33 years old.

This may be abandoned on the drive or it may be a Chicago winter car.

Yes, an Ambassador. Nice spot. That must be an Argentinian model since I think all the US built cars had V8s at that point.

Bought this for my 100 mile commute, 173,000 miles in five years since new.. Prior to this it was a string of E39 or diesel Rabbits. I do 35-45k a year so I decided to get something newer as I was wearing out retros left and right. Putting it to driving use this week, Toledo Ohio to Chicago, Illinois. THEN to Nashville, Tennessee to see my brother run a marathon. Then reverse that. 2500 miles in Thurs-Sunday, luckily I had some Hilton points so we aren't staying in the car or a tent.

My neighbor has one with an LSx in it, it goes like stink and is Chevy reliable. I've just started noticing that they are all starting to look a little dilapidated; so I'll probably end up with one soon!

I did it for four months in the late 90's. FOUR MONTHS?!!! You sir have just been elevated to Hero status! Crikey four months, i did it a lot, but not every night, probably ony three or four times a year in my early twenties and that was bad enough. Looking back it was quite foolish, I was to proud to ask for or accept any assistance. In the US it is pretty well impossible to graduate from or attend a private college without either crippling debt or wealthy parents. I had and have neither. There are always other options they just may hurt the pride more than roughing it but I was essentially homeless for that period which is not something to be proud of.

I did it for four months in the late 90's. I worked and went to University and couldn't afford living space in Chicago. I had an x-police Dodge Diplomat and it sucked big time. No tips except if you have any other option don't do it, there wasn't a way to plan for anything if your house could be towed by the time you return.

Wonder if they would honor the "cars lifetime" warranty listed for the exhaust? Looks like a great car.

I can only like your wheel post once....
The car at harbor freight is a 56 Chevy, we call HF Hazard Fraught due to their early reputation for selling tools that became hammers or pry bars after one use.

Just traded my C4 corvette for this, should do everything I need it to(except be sporty). The fateful moment, my wife isn't real happy but they are talking about a bad winter again with Feet of snow so.. ...and we got two inches of snow total. It's now been sold in to someone else in Michigan who drove all the way because a rust free 4x4 Ramcharger is a unicorn. Still have this to Lug loads.
