Shouldn't have to be doing this, but it's curse word me right off. What I wanted to do this afternoon was watch some cars going up a hill, but once again a few of us had to go round tidying all your rubbish up from the camp site and show field. It clearly states on the information form that rubbish should be put in the (very large, very yellow) skips provided. The amount left on the campsite was well out of order. There is NO excuse not to chuck it in the skip. Yes your MX5 or Peugeot 205 might have no boot space left, but what you have got is 2 arms and 2 legs, with which you can handily pick things up and carry them over a distance. Rather excellently a lot of people take photos of the overall campsite and we've got photos of where the rubbish was left so its very easy to work out who the offenders were. I'm sure it won't happen again.
Also whoever had the fire in a dustbin and another nearby and put the beer keg, glass bottles and cans in. DON'T BE A DICK.

All I can say is thank you to the team that cleared up all the curse word left by lazy curse word who don't care if this event continues - Thank you and thank you again
If you come to a retro rides gathering and you are used to your mum cleaning up behind you then bring her along or be a decent person and clean your own sh!t up for a change - it really isn't that hard you'll have a bag or two - the clean up team had three truck loads
Leave only foot prints...........

It's a shame to read this as it seems to get worse each year, it's not like you could miss the skips is it?

Also whoever had the fire in a dustbin and another nearby and put the beer keg, glass bottles and cans in. DON'T BE A DICK. This was unbelievable. I saw this explosion and if anyone had been walking close by it could have caused serious injury. A white hot beer keg falling on you from 100ft would hurt. Kinda stupid idea when you are camping two tents along from a couple of kids.

curse word in mx5s who kept throwing their rubbish on the ground after being directly asked to put it in the skip...
Also curse word in mx5s revving them at all hours.
And curse word in mx5s doing donuts and skids out on the road.
CAN ANYONE SEE A PATTERN HERE?

Shame really as most of the people were sensible, chilled out and cleaned up after themselves.

Sad to hear a minority did this again, well done to those who had to clear up after them.
Do we need a RRG police force? I know of a very nice US police cruiser that would make an excellent ride for them....

I did 3 trips in the Iveco. Truly appauling. Thanks for a great weekend people and lets hope that the minority realise that their scruffy, selfish ways will not be put up with and that their actions don't jeopardise any future events.

I really like mx5s. Despite the twattish element, it was a phenomenal weekend - so much love and respect for the whole staff and crew for putting it on! *n

And which bell-end put the still fully lit disposable BBQ in the skip? Me and Low Standards shot off to get some water to put it out (by the time we got back, the officials had fished it out). Who does that!? What is wrong with people?!

Its a shame to hear this was the case. I must ask though I have 205 and we picked up all our crud and a couple of other bits got thrown in the bin that was laying around. We spent all our time in our friends caravan Just slept in the tent, the 205 was kind of dumped where I could get it closeish to the tent. It is a shame to hear this was the case. Perhaps next year have a skip sitting in the middle area for a bit more ease??

But thank you for tidying your 'area', it helps go a long way to make life easier.

I was quite saddened by the mess left behind by some individuals and as usual I was the last to leave where are group were camping. so as an old scout, I made sure the site was tidied as it was before we arrived and shifted 6 bin bags of rubbish to the provided skips, but I will hold my hand up and apologize for the 2 bags I could not shift as they were infested with wasps and I have very serious reactions to wasp stings, so reluctantly left on the field rather than risk needing possible medical attention. Thank you to the campsite team for there efforts for the weekend and again sorry for having to leave those 2 bags

The last time I attended, we were all issued with black bin bags, used successfully.
However, I get as peed off despite not attending this year (anniversary weekend away) that people persist in this sort of behaviour.
They know who they are, even a fag end is out of line when everyone is trying to enjoy the same facilities.
Shame on the messers. W¥nk€r$.
Hope to be back next year with the truck and teardrop trailer.
Thanks to the organisers.
