To add my 2p's worth, we arrived at 3:15 and didn't get any binliners, so we walked back to the gate and asked for them Anyway, fantastic weekend, might be beneficial to make a step by step thread on how not to get stuck in the mud. I hope the radio-cassette comment wasn't aimed at me, we did have a bizarre mix of johnny cash, X-ray spex and duran duran, but kept to the curfew and if anyone wanted it turned down we sure would have

Got my bin bags at about 5 on Friday, filled them up, my wife dumped them in the skip (Yes, she really is that good!) and then she drove my FWD modern with massive wheels and low profile tyres out on Sunday afternoon without a wheelspin in sight The key is the less revs the better, and if you start to spin going forwards, stop try and go back and then try again! low revs and good clutch action always pays!

Suggestion... Give people allocated camping spots, that way you will know the culprits.

Suggestion... Give people allocated camping spots, that way you will know the culprits. Would be really hard to organise with the amount tickets change hands. I wasn't planning on camping originally, then sourced 2 tickets from different people. Then after parking up and having a wander bumped into two people I know so we merged camps together!

Ban camping then! Would certainly stop a lot of moaning. Might be a lot more popular with the locals too but would possibly lead to 500 more cars arriving Sunday morning Camping has been part of every RRG event and even before that at Retro car shows when the RR massive got together - I'd like it to stay a part of it. See someone being a dick just say something - say it nicely fine but say it - pretty sure most normal nice people will sulk for a min and then realise they were being a dick and you might actually find soon you are friends

Shame really as most of the people were sensible, chilled out and cleaned up after themselves. Same thing happens at local meets and night time gatherings, its always the few that spoils it and if it is still happening at a large well organised event there really is no hope for the car scene.

some points to note- the security on the gate failed to give bin bags to anyone arriving Since when has it been the job of security to provide bin bags, bring your own even in the smallest car there will be room for two binbags?

I have just got back from a week camping for the Spa grandprix, the 'campsite'we use is a farmers field and being in a small village they do not have any large bins so we were asked to take our rubbish with us, over 200 tents on the field and as we were leaving the site owner was rubbish picking and only managed to fill 1/2 a bin bag.

Shouldn't have even needed to get that much We got a bin bag from public car park - 90% was McDonalds/Burger king wrappers shake cups and bags and rest was just the odd thing from the on site catering..... Based on the fact that McDonalds and Burger king declined our invite to cater at the event it means that people dropped litter on arrival or emptied their cars before they left...... We got 5-6 black bin liners from the hill mind!!

Since when has it been the job of security to provide bin bags, bring your own even in the smallest car there will be room for two binbags? Security were on the campsite gate handing out the goodie bags along with the binbags as people came in, its pretty standard for weekend show you go to.

my point being, is that if you are handed a bin bag on entry and told to bloody use it, you have no excuse, which is presumably why they're in the 'welcome pack'(which i didnt get). none of the rest of our group was given them either, but we just took what we thought was the least worst option then sorted it the next day. some people arent like that, and once ita dropped its forgotten.

We got the goody bags but had no idea that they contained bin bags. We did bring our own though and eventually spotted the ones in the goody bags for the next morning
