Would be really hard to organise with the amount tickets change hands. I wasn't planning on camping originally, then sourced 2 tickets from different people. Then after parking up and having a wander bumped into two people I know so we merged camps together! Take the forum approach Self police.......... OK we can't send in the cats but we can sure as hell point out when people don't come up to our RR stds - surely we can? Anyone who caused any issue this year should be banned from next year - job done

What happens if they change cars? How do we identify individuals?

I arrived Late on Friday Night.
Got absolutely rat legged on both nights.
.. Honestly at the 'far corner' ( From the entrance in white Late model skyine )
.. I didn't really see any of this bellend behaviour?
We did clear out litter to the Skips but left to early to see what was left over..

I wasn't there so maybe not my place to comment at all but I can't help feeling sorry for jdmclare. All this properly naughty stuff happened and she gets called out for essentially turning her car round a bit sharpish? Seems harsh.
We can see from her rather contrite post that she's embarrassed about this. Unfortunately the type of people who leave rubbish lying around, tear up the field with a car, light fires in bins etc probably don't get embarrassed about anything.

Hi, just a note. Last Sunday I went to the Shelsley 'Breakast Club' meeting. No hill climbing just a ruck of cool motors and their owners (and wags and dogs and kids)for couple of hours or so- and it became clear that the MAC have had a ton of complaints from residents regarding the RRG15 . This was confirmed today by a pal who runs the breakdown service at the meetings had been made aware of total twattish and mindless driving antics along the lanes around the venue reported by locals.
Just a real shame .

I spoke to MAC yesterday (thus the post about the dates), they said they hadn't had any issues reported from the locals (it was the first thing I checked), and they were all generally pleased with the improved traffic management we put in place this year. I don't know where this ton of complaints were you heard about because MAC are not backwards about coming forwards when there are problems with events at the venue.
We will however do our best to remind people to be respectful of the people that live around the venues we use. It is true for almost all motorsports venue, even places like The Pod which is a fair way out of town have had locals have words with people driving like idiots through Poddington.

To be fair, the sort of locals you get around Poddington probably think a horse and cart travels at quite a dangerous velocity ...and that's exactly the problem with this sort of thing. It's utterly subjective and one man's intolerable lunatic driving is another man's making progress. I saw no kind of antics of any kind approaching or leaving the gathering; on the wya in the highest speed attained was about 25mph once leaving the motorway due to Mrs Miggins Sunday drivers and when leaving most of the roads were underwater, which severely restrained any high spirits ...and don't even get me started on the sort of mindset that leads people to move into a new-built estate bordering onto Brands Hatch and then complain that there is engine noise wafting over their fence...

I'd also add that pretty much every meeting has the potential for some high spirited exits due to the nature of some of the enthusiasts that attend, I'm hopeful that our attendees can be more respectful as they are not very anonymous. If someone comes screeching out of a normal event in their modern econobox GTi, well it could have been anyone, for the majority of our attendees the car is pretty distinctive, or at least the club they were with is. Can't speak much on the day visitors in the normal parking though.

Diplomatic and ground level language is always at odds with each other. I only wish to repeat what has been told to me with no agenda other than to inform . The Sunday was a real treat with some stunning creations and frankly hope that similar events can take place in the future in such a quintessential 'English' place with so much genuine sparkle. Some hyped up shows are a downright bore and hardly worth the fuel and entrance fee let alone the effort and time to drive there. RRG15 was not one and a credit to the both the venue and the RR team.

From my prospective the music this year was at a much more manageable level and by reports I've already read people where very civil and turned the music off when requested : ) . Rubbish could have been better. The lady mx5 driver, there was no need to cain it down and do a hand break turn down one of the smallest lanes in existence , if you want to get noticed I suggest you drive somthing more different than an mx5. But well done for apologising. What really annoyed me was the lack of knowledge by car people about how to get out of the camping field when it was wet , giving it full revs in first gear doesn't help the situation it just messes the field up. Other than that epic show, good camping facilities , Shame about the weather but Saturday nights storm was epic. Well done to the organisers as it really is hardwork to organise these events especially after you get home from work, here's to next year : )
