Aye, that's the one. Thanks - I didn't know how to post a piccie from a previous post.
The blue one looks like a seriously budget build (tacky windshield arrangement). The white one looks like it's been properly done, with the later curved windscreen, and alloys).

I think I've found an abandoned Fiat X1/9. Pretty rare to see something like that parked and abandoned in Aus.

Nah, we still get rust but not as bad as you euro guys do, we don't really get much snow here in Aus so the state and territory road authorities don't salt the road.

If you see a really rusty car in Australia it's usually meant that it's come from a sea side suburb.

used to be a couple of x1/9 here in Adelaide and yes they were very rusty! i think you could put these in a sealed room with no corrosive additives and they would still rust...
