Just had some exciting (if far-off) news. I've managed to get hold of one of these for very little money.  It's the Z20LEH or Astra VXR engine, and this one has been Regal fettled to 320bhp. Now I’m pretty sure an LEH has never been put in a Mk2 before, so it’d be nice to be the first. Certainly the swap is well beyond my own skill level (that’s bolting bits of car together), but the fellas I’m doing the build with are more than up to the task. Even if I do decide to put the VXR lump in it won’t happen till the winter, but it’s nice to plan these things, isn’t it? its got a thorney motorsport sticker, be worried |

offers on the dash, delivery should be fine on that but id prefer collection on the bonnet as i've had issues in the past when sending them

Good pair of doors, will require minor prep work before paint     Fiberglass skin and shell, will require some prep work prior to paint   Generally good condition, was removed from my last SL as the material has cracked around the drivers side vent a couple inches could be recovered/ flocked easy enough  offers? |
